Rain on the Window

Just a real quick story that I thought was pretty cute. The other day is was raining hard and the kids where standing at the window watching it and all the sudden Bryson ran into the kitchen saying "wash a window". He came running back into the living room with a towel and started rubbing it on the window trying to get the rain off the window. I thought it was pretty cute, he really didn't understand why he couldn't get the rain off the window.

Sunny the Duck

This is Sunny the Duck...McKenzie's classroom pet. It was her turn to bring Sunny home to care for her over the weekend. It is one of those "Fur Real" toys so it has a bottle and it quack when you feed it, it's really cute. At the end of the weekend you have to help them write a few sentences about their weekend with Sunny then at the end of the year they have a book about Sunny and all her adventures. As you can tell McKenzie has a great teacher that is very creative. The funnest part about this duck is that on night last week she was telling me about Sunny the duck and how she had to bring it home and take care of it and that the duck was their pet at school. I thought is was just another on of McKenzie's stories so I told her what ever I think you're crazy.....then Thursday when I pick her up and she had Sunny the duck and her teacher told me that it was her weekend to take care of Sunny. Life lesson..sometimes it's not a bad idea to listen to your 4 year old she's not always making up some silly story.

1st Day of School

McKenzie started school at Little Treasures on the 8th, her teacher is Brenda Bagwell. She is in a combined class of 3 and 4 year olds. She was very excited to start school and was even more excited when we found out that her best little friend Camryn was in her class nothing could have made either one of them more happy. Camryn and McKenzie are totally different Camryn is very shy and all of you know McKenzie is the farthest thing from shy. These two little girl play so well together and the best part is we live close to each other. Anyway back to the first day of school when I dropped McKenzie off she didn't even care that I was leaving she went and started playing, her brother on the other hand I had to carry out of her class room, he didn't want to leave Kenzie. She is doing well and is a very tired little girl when I go and get her.

6 weeks old...

I can't believe how fast it has gone by...why can't pregnancy go by as fast as they grow up???

You can't really tell in these pictures but she has blue blue eyes they are so pretty just like her Dad's. She is doing good spoiled as can be and I take all the credit for it she likes being held and I like to hold her. McKenzie and Bryson still just love their baby sister, Bryson has his moments but most of all does well. McKenzie will be starting Pre-K on the 8th so I will do another update soon but for now that's all.
