Where does all the time go???

Once again I have slaked on getting a birthday post up for one my kids. On the 21st of July Brooklyn had her 1st birthday. I can't believe how fast time goes.......where does it go?
Brooklyn is such a sweet little blessing in our lives she really does complete our little family. McKenzie & Bryson love to play with her Bryson usually gets too rough and ends up making her cry then he says "Mom I just playn' wif her" I think he feels bad that she cries but he is like a little bull. McKenzie has always liked to huge, kiss, & be right in her face she has of course grown to HATE it, McKenzie will get in her face and start talking to her and Brooklyn will just scream and swing her arms sometimes she hits her I'm sure I would do the same thing if someone was always in my face like that. They really do love their baby sister she is pretty special to them they have never tried to give her away. Through the past year she has gained a few nick names: Brookie, Flower, Polka Dot, Skunk Toes Sister (Curtis' s mom calls Bryson Skunk Toes), Blue Eyes, Tiny, & Daddy's Girl (she really is one, big time) I think that is all of them none have really stuck but I have a few that I like best. We celebrated her and Bryson's birhdays together because they are so close she had a great time eating her cake and ice cream a made a huge mess for us to clean up but that is ok that wouldn't be much fun if they didn't make a mess. I really hope I can get some pictures downloaded of their party but for know I better go so I can get my sweet little girl down for a nap. We all love you Brooklyn!!

Happy Birthday Bryson

One the 13th we celebrated Bryson's 3rd birthday. We didn't get to do too much because we where on our way home from the Stamp's family reunion. We did have a small party with Grandma & Grandpa Schneider, Melissa & her boys before she had to be back home. At the family reunion I saw a side of Bryson I didn't know he had. They had an open microphone in the dinning hall where we ate dinner every night & every time he got the chance he was up there singing the ABC's. I thought the kid was shy, but I guess I was wrong. I love to hear my little boy sing it is the sweetest, my favorite is "I Am A Child of God" it makes me cry every time. I tried to get him to sing it on video but he would never do it. I'll keep trying because it is sooo sweet. Bryson is all boy he loves tractors, trucks, motorcycles, trains, really anything that goes and he loves to get dirty his favorite is the mud. I can tell him 100 times to stay out of the mud and he just can't do it. Just like last summer he has spent a lot of time in the tractor with Curtis once he is out there it's hard to get him back home. He does really well when he's in the tractor he will even take a nap. Curtis has been sitting him on his lap to "let him drive" he thinks that is pretty cool. Well I think that is about all for now after we have a party for my side of the family I'll see if I can get a few pictures posted. We all love you Bryson and I hope you had a great birthday!! Here is a short video of him singing, of course, the ABC's he has been able to do this for about 4 months.

McKenzie's Birthday

On May 25th McKenzie turned 5….yes I know it is VERY VERY late and I feel bad, but I guess better late than never….right ?? WOW how the time has flown by for us.
McKenzie loves to play with her baby sister and pretend that she is her baby she also loves to fight with her brother and I’m sure she will be doing the same thing with Brooklyn before long. She has been in ballet the past year and LOVES it she is getting pretty good. If you ask her to do something she learned in ballet class she is silly about it but I have seen her playing ballet and she is doing really well. I decided that we needed to take the summer semester off and she really misses it.
Who better to tell you about McKenzie then her, here are some of her favorites and some questions I asked her….
Color-Purple & Pink
Food-Ramon Noodles
Snack-Fruit Snacks (Princess and the Frog ones)
Drink- Strawberry Juice
Toy-Dolls & My Leapster
Things to Play-With my dolls & ride my bike
Animal-Horse….Aunt Lou Lou horse sweet pea
Book-Goldilicious and Pinkilicious (The little girl in these two stories reminds me a lot of McKeznie very full of imagination)
Past time-Paint
What makes you happy-Going to Grandma’s house
What makes you sad-When you say no
What makes you scared-When its super super dark
What makes you laugh-When Chance is silly
Those are the answers she gave me for today some of them change every day but some of them do stay the same. Hope you enjoy the slid show, just a few pictures of her from the past year.
I hope to get back to doing this more I have a few more things I will be posting in the next few days.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Here are a few pictures of the kids coloring Easter eggs. This year Curtis helped them and I got the watch it was fun to watch them I think Curtis had just as much fun as they did...I usually do. I don't know why is still so much fun but it is. Do notice how much of a kid at heart Curtis is giving his son bunny ears, what do you do with a husband that is as much of a kid as your kids??? Just love him that's all you can do.

McKenzie concentrating very hard on coloring
an egg with a crayon and then making the BIG
decision of what color to dye it. She was too
funny it was such a big deal to her.
Bryson being Bryson....silly kid.
He had Daddy drawing trucks and tractors
on the eggs before he dyed them. He is ALL boy!!

Brooklyn thought they would taste good but found

out that they are not so good with the shell on.

She, of course, had to pick up two and hit

them together good thing they where boiled.

This smile is priceless and so so very contagious!!

More pictures to come of them in their Easter clothes. We didn't go to church the Sunday before Easter because of my back so we will have to take pictures this Sunday.

Hair Bow/Flower Holder

I have been looking for a bow/flower organizer for a long time now. I have found many different ones but none have really been what I want and what would work in the kids bathroom. The other day I found this one on a blog (I can't remember which blog for sure) and I thought, that would be perfect and I can make it myself. So I'm just sharing the out come I LOVE the way it turned out and it matches the kids bathroom perfect. It was so simple and fun that I made another one that I can sell at a craft show sometime. I'm sure once I get all the bows and flowers on it you won't even be able to tell what color it is painted but it's cute anyway:)

This is the one I made for my girls

Combz in Her Hair

This morning I had to go get my blood work done so I left the kids home with Curtis. I came home to find this.......
OUCH!!!! McKenzie has decided that she likes to wear a comb in her hair instead of a flower. Call me a mean Mom but I made her wear it in her hair until about 11:00 then it took me about 20 minutes and a pretty good sized hair ball to get it out.

Afternoon PLAYTIME With DADDY

The first good snow storm we had the kids started telling Curtis to get the snowmobile out and take them for a ride. The other day he finally got one out and took them for a ride, the kids love it Bryson could go all day he doesn't care if he is frozen he LOVES it, McKenzie likes to go but once she gets cold she is DONE. They really like it when we are able to go to the cabin because they can warm up then go play some more.

Look Who's 6 Months Old!

I can't believe our little Brooklyn Emma is 6 months old, time does go by WAY to fast. Brooklyn is such a good baby she doesn't like to be alone in a room but as long as she can see someone she is happy as can be. She loves playing with her toys, peek-a-boo, and loves her Jumperoo she goes crazy in it. She is a total Mommy's girl and I LOVE it!!!! She is such a smiley, happy, laughing baby I don't remember my other two laughing so much or so easy when they were this little. She of course has been eating baby food and cereal and she loves it....she's not too crazy for the bananas but she does pretty well with the others.
On the 27th she has to go back to the doctor so he can check her eye it has always been guppy and watery he told me a few months ago if it didn't fix it's self by 6 months they would have to lance it. I'm not looking forward to this at all. I'm sure it's not a great big deal but it won't be comfortable for her I'm sure. Has anyone else had to do this, I really don't know what to expect???

See Anything Different??

If you look close....McKenzie got her ears pierced. She has wanted to do this for a long time so we finally went and got it done last night. She was such a big girl she didn't even cry and she sat so still, they did the first ear and I thought for sure she would fight to get the second one done but she didn't she did so well Curtis and I were both every impressed with her.
I on the other hand did cry, must be a Mom thing.
This next picture is just of her being silly thought it was cute.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CURTIS!!

Once again I'm late for this post yesterday was Curtis's B-day, sorry I had a crazy day and never got around to doing this. Curtis is such a good Dad, the other day I took the kids and went shopping for him. They were so excited to buy Daddy something for his birthday I of course never really told them exactly what we bought because they would have come right home and told him exactly what we got. They think the world of him and love to go with him in the truck, they love the truck ride and to go to the dairy and see the cows. Curtis is a great husband also he works hard so I get to stay home with the kids and I love it, he never complains about me staying home and never makes me feel like I need to work. He is pretty willing to help me do thing or do things for me...I might have to ask 20 time but he will usually get around to doing it. Happy Birthday Curtis we love you!!!

Happy Birthday Mom & Lori

I feel really bad that I never got around to doing this yesterday but Happy late birthday to my Mom and Lori.

My Mom was and still is the most wonderful person, I could never have asked for a better Mom and example in my life. I know that I wouldn't be where I am today without having my Mom in my life. I remember going to her countless times and asking her advice and her answer was always the same..."have you prayed about it?" This is something that I will never forget she had a true belief in prayer and I'm very grateful that she thought me how important it is. I glad I had such a great mom, Happy Birthday Mom!

I wanted to be sure and post something about Lori on her birthday because she always takes the time to post something about everyone on their birthday so I thought I would return the favor. Lori has a very bright personality if you are around her she is sure to make you smile. Lori and I have always been close we can tell each other just how we feel and then move on. Lori is a great mom she is very loving to her 3 sweet little boys. I hope you had a great birthday Lor (Lou Lou as my kiddos call you) I hope you had a great day that you so much deserve:-) Happy Birthday Lori!!
